Under the supervision of the Country Representative, in close consultation with Project Manager, the Project Associate will support the Project Manager in the overall project management and activities implementation, such as work plans, activity implementation, monitoring, procurement, and reporting, among others.
The Project Associate will have opportunities to support the implementation of various activities under the on-going project, including Climate Smart Agriculture pilot interventions, capacity-building programs, media campaigns, and operations of the digital platforms for diverse internal and external stakeholders as well as other strategic areas identified within GGGI’s Country Planning Framework.

In 2021 GGGI signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for cooperation with the Ministry of Natural Resources (former State Committee for Ecology and Environmental Protection), and signed a project agreements with KOICA to implement the “Green Rehabilitation Investment Project for Karakalpakstan Republic to address impacts of the Aral Sea Crisis”, and Agence Française de Développement (AFD) to provide technical assistance in the realization of support for Strategic Environmental Assessments in Uzbekistan and the mainstreaming of their practices.
