We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the general position of Project Director and Chief of Party in Global Health and Population Business Unit to be included in our repository of technical expertise in the areas of: population, health, environment and development (PHED); family planning and reproductive health (FP/RH), adolescent sexual and reproductive health and rights (AYSRHR); gender; gender-based violence prevention and response.
In addition to providing technical direction, the Project Director/Chief of Party position provides cross cutting program management, operations support, project design, and knowledge sharing and learning. This position also has a lead role in client relationships, project reporting, budgeting, supporting the financial management and reporting, project start-up and close-out etc.

Position Summary
The Project Director/Chief of Party will be responsible for overall technical leadership, management, and operations of the activity. They will ensure that the project’s goals, objectives, and strategy are achieved and that contractual requirements are met on time and within budget. The COP will take a leadership role in coordination of all activities across all relevant parties, including the funder and partners for the project. They will also oversee all project staff and sub-partners to results-oriented planning, leadership, and coordination of project activities and products.
We are seeking candidates from these countries and regions where we currently work.
FHI 360 is also pursuing global awards, based in the various countries above. For these positions, the Project Director or Chief of Party may be based in the US but would ideally be in one of the regions where the projects operate.
