Where you come in:

In this full-time position (Maximum term 2 years with possibility of extension), based at Bandicoot Drive Kununurra you’ll provide strategic and operational support to the Regional Manager, to develop and deliver an integrated strategy for children and young people.Your primary responsibility will be facilitating the Kununurra Night Patrol and Youth Services including the school holiday program. You’ll be part of our East Kimberley team and will report to our Regional Manager.

You will make an impact by:

  • Managing the successful delivery of the Kununurra Night Patrol and Youth services
  • Undertaking project development activities for youth, including submissions for donors, program design, and grant applications
  • Actively seeking opportunities to develop programs and the skills of program staff.
  • Monitoring and evaluating project performance.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective networks and relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Mentoring and support the Youth Workers (casuals)

This role requires:

  • Degree in Community Development, Education, Youth Work, Social Work or similar
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong networks and partnerships to drive project outcomes.
  • Experience working with Aboriginal communities.
  • Driver’s licence (car available for work use)
  • Project coordination skills and experience
