Duration of contract: 1 year with the possibility of extension subject to availability of funds and satisfactory performance.
Under the general supervision of the Director of the Division of Ecological and Earth Sciences (EES), the specific supervision of the Chief of Section, Division of Ecological and Earth Sciences/MAB Research and Policy: Ecology and Biodiversity (EES/ESP), and Chief of Section, Solution Design and Implementation in the Bureau for Digital Business Solutions (DBS), the incumbent shall provide support to the Chief to support the development of the MAB database, which includes supporting the digitalization process of data and workflows, conducting data-collection, and promoting data integration to the UNESCO Biodiversity Portal

UNESCO’s salaries consist of a basic salary and other benefits which may include if applicable: 30 days annual leave, family allowance, medical insurance, pension plan etc.
The approximate annual starting salary for this post is US $ 98,169.25.
