JOB DETAIL

Objectives

  • Support effective and qualitative project implementation within project timeframes and quality standards, and in compliance with SOPs and humanitarian standards.
  • Ensure timely and efficient coordination with local partners, authorities and other stakeholders.

    Tasks

  • Monitor all protection activities and suggest improvements or solutions to challenges in coordination with Head of Project.
  • Be pro-active in building knowledge and understanding of ‘Protection in Humanitarian Emergencies’.
  • Contribute to high-quality protection programming in WHH and support the further institutionalization of Protection, including relevant processes & standardization.
  • Maintain regular contact with partner field teams and ensure information flow.
  • Maintain relationships with the national/sub-national clusters and technical working groups.
  • Manage and report the implementation of needs and situation analysis (Surveys, FGDs, etc).
  • Ensure that all documentation and records pertaining to monthly activity planning, participants’ attendance and tests, are updated periodically with relevant information.
  • Review, in coordination with the Protection Advisor the contents of group activities such as awareness raising, PSS, etc. Check that they are appropriate and in line with the objectives of the project and meet humanitarian minimum standards
  • Meet with community stakeholders, local leaders, and key community members to inform and involve them in the project.
  • Review the referral documentation to ensure it is correct.
  • Compile and edit weekly and monthly reports (M&E) submitted by field teams and share them with the Project Manager.
  • Comply with labor discipline, labor protection and safety rules, fire-prevention requirements, industrial sanitation and labor hygiene rules, Safety, and Environmental regulations and guidelines.
  • Perform all duties according to this Job Description in Mykolaiv and Zaporizhzhia oblasts.
  • Travel to other Area offices and field locations of organization in Ukraine in consultation with the line manager.
