Our origins in sexual and reproductive health have grown into a broader mission. Today, we work with the public and private sectors as well as local communities, prioritizing people’s voice and choice and developing solutions to meet their essential health needs. Population Services International (PSI) and the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF) have co-created a parent company called HealthX Partners Incorporated (HXP), under which they and other health NGOs and businesses can achieve greater impact while delivering efficiencies and greater value for consumers, clients, host governments, stakeholders, and the global health sector. This bold new initiative creates new opportunities for leadership at the level of the wholly-owned subsidiaries of HXP, specifically PSI.
PSI seeks a President who will direct, supervise, and coordinate all activities of PSI in pursuit of the mission, purpose, and policies of the organization. The President is accountable to the CEO of PSI’s parent company HXP and works in close coordination with the board of PSI, with authorities and responsibilities delegated from HXP. This role oversees PSI’s global project delivery teams and technical health areas, ensuring the effective scaling of PSI’s impact worldwide. The President plays a central role in delivering value to our funders, government partners, and health consumers. As a member of HXP’s executive leadership team, the President drives PSI’s success by developing operational plans, monitoring progress, and serving as a motivating force for the dispersed and diverse global talent base of the organization. The President also helps to steer the evolution of HXP as a new structure for value, impact, and growth in the global health sector.
What You’ll Do
• Visionary Leadership: Drive the strategic vision of PSI in a changing world, pioneering innovative and impactful approaches to advance our mission and create sustainable change. Spearhead a cohesive global project delivery vision and strategy, encompassing risk compliance programs and budget management. Monitor progress against the strategy as agreed with the CEO, adjust as needed, and provide regular updates to the CEO and other members of HXP’s executive leadership team, senior leadership, PSI entity board of directors and HXP’s board of directors, and all staff. • Resource Mobilization: Drive resource mobilization strategies that align with PSI’s mission and goals, ensuring financial sustainability and prioritizing growth, including cultivating existing and new donor relationships, driving innovative strategies, and representing PSI externally. • Collaboration and Integration: Lead the integration efforts with EGPAF through HealthX Partners, leveraging combined expertise to enhance health outcomes and broaden our global reach. Collaborate with the HXP CEO to make informed decisions that align with PSI’s priority goals. Ensure the adoption and achievement of PSI’s talent philosophy, strategy, and objectives across departments. |

What You’ll Bring (You are No Imposter)

A Bachelor’s Degree (or international equivalent) in a related field; Master’s Degree preferred. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted. • Fundraising, Business Development, and Partnerships: Proven track record in fundraising, business development, partnership development, and navigating the global health landscape. Exceptional strategic and analytical skills. Able to diagnose complex problems, generate effective solutions and communicate compelling strategic courses of action. • Passion for Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR): Committed to PSI’s full-spectrum reproductive health, rights, and freedom agenda – an important part of our overall work. • Champion of Diversity and Inclusion: Advocate for and work seamlessly with marginalized communities, ensuring inclusivity and diversity are at the heart of our efforts. |
