JOB DESCRIPTION 
General Qualifications
  • University degree in a relevant field of study or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Not less than five years of experience in management support at senior staff or management level preferably in an international organisation, a national public administration (civil or military), or the private sector.
  • Experience of programme and project management processes and tools particularly in support of major acquisition projects.
  • Experience in planning, coordinating and other administrative functions acquired in the Agency or in a similar organisation.
  • Ability to promote international cooperation and to participate in and chair international meetings efficiently.
  • Ability to orchestrate and implement clear, efficient and logical approaches to work, to manage assignments, objectives and time.
  • Ability to deal effectively with personnel at all organisational levels.
  • Ability to develop resourceful and effective solutions to complex problems, ability to set performance goals and expectations, to develop policy and metrics, to measure performance and to engage problems early to mitigate risk and redirect performance.
  • Ability to multi-task, manage time and work effectively under pressure while producing high-quality products under short-notice deadlines.
  • Ability to facilitate/present persuasively orally and in writing to gain buy-in and effective negotiations skills to achieve desired outcomes including business growth.
  • Ability to analyse complex and wide-ranging questions, issues and information, with a structured approach to the problem solving process, including providing recommended solutions and a proposed way forward.
  • Knowledge of information systems at end-user level with experience in using personal computers and software packages.
 Specific Qualifications
  • Project Management certification [Prince 2 Practitioner, Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent].
  • Experience or understanding of Quality Management [such as application of ISO standards and the Allied Quality Assurance Publication (AQAP) 2000 Series] and Risk Management.
LANGUAGE QUALIFICATIONS
  • NATO’s two official languages are English and French. The work of this post is mainly conducted in English, therefore fluency in that language is essential and working knowledge of French is desirable.

POST DETAILS

  • Basic monthly salary: EUR 9 635, 61, tax free.
