Organizational Setting
The Department of Management’s Division of General Services (MTGS) provides support functions to the IAEA through its four Sections, namely the Archives and Records Section (ARMS), the Commissary Management Section (CMS), the Facilities Management and General Support Section (FMGSS) and the Seibersdorf Laboratories Services Section (SLSS).
Main Purpose
Reporting to the Supervisor, RIG, the Receiving and Inspection Clerk creates receipts for the received goods in the ERP; inputs and maintains the MTGS Receiving Logbook and issues delivery notes to the Asset Management Groups. He/She checks that all incoming shipments are arranged in line with accepted standards and procedures.
Functions / Key Results Expected
– Receive and inspect delivered goods and packaging, check and ensure if all proper delivery notes are supplied.
– Receipt goods delivered using AIPS as part of the payment authorization process , input and maintain the data in MTGS Receiving Logbook according to established standards and procedures, and issue delivery notes to the Asset Management Group.
– Review outgoing shipments to ensure goods are packed safely and in the most economical way and process shipping requests in AIPS.
– Arrange goods received on the shelves and prepare for the dispatch to the requestors or end-users.
– Report load-bearing issues including safety risks of shelving to supervisor according to established standards.

Qualifications, Experience and Language skills
Completed secondary education.
Minimum of three years of working experience in the field of storage/warehouse operation. Experience organizing shelving and storage space is an advantage.
Forklift driving license.
Excellent oral and written command of English and German. Knowledge of other official IAEA languages (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian and Spanish) is an asset.
Administrative skills set to IAEA standard may be part of the selection process.
Remuneration
The IAEA offers an attractive remuneration package including a tax-free annual net base salary starting at EUR 41939 (subject to mandatory deductions for pension contributions and health insurance), 6 weeks’ annual vacation, pension plan and health insurance.
