Location: London (mixture of office and home working). 3 days in London office
Contract type: Permanent
Salary: £32,170 – £35,747 DOE + £3,344 London Weighting (if applicable)

Could you provide technical logistics expertise and guidance to BRC programmes and emergency responses in the Middle East & North Africa (MENA) Region?

The Regional Logistics and Supply Chain Coordinator – MENA Region will provide logistics expertise and guidance in the delivery of BRC’s International and Regional strategic objectives, programmes and emergency responses.

About the Role

The Regional Logistics and Supply Chain Coordinator – MENA will provide technical logistics expertise and guidance in support of the BRC International Strategy and delivery of the Regional Action Plan (RAP) objectives through programmes and emergency responses, and to the logistics development of National Society (NS) partners within the region. The role will also support and monitor the deployment of logistics and supply chain resources within the MENA region.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high quality technical services on the procurement and/or mobilisation of goods and services, ensuring all logistical components of BRC programming are compliant with legislation, regulations, internal and external policies, standards, and best practice.
Support the assessment, design, implementation, and monitoring of logistical and procurement support to BRC bilateral programmes.
Work closely with Regional Teams, including Programme Managers, Country Managers and Heads of Region to validate proposed programme plans from a Logistics and Supply Chain perspective.
Support National Society Development projects and programmes, in particular with logistics and supply chain related activities (including procurement).
Provide input to BRC’s Emergency Appeals analyses in the region.

What we are looking for

Considerable knowledge of supply chain management and logistics processes systems (procurement, fleet and asset management, warehousing, etc.) in a variety of contexts.
Good understanding of humanitarian logistics and development sectors.
Strong analytical, solution design, influencing, communication, negotiation, coaching and mentoring skills
Sound financial management knowledge with ability to support the management of large and complex budgets
Driven and excited to work for an organisation that’s helping people in crisis
