Organizational Context and Scope
The IOM Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific in Bangkok (ROAP) is covering 40 countries across the Asia and Pacific region. The key responsibility of the ROAP is to formulate regional strategies and plans of action and to provide programmatic and administrative support to the countries within its region.
Under the overall guidance of the Regional Director (RD) for ROAP, and the direct supervision of the Regional Project Development Officer (RPDO), the Regional Reporting Officer, working within the Regional Project Support Unit (RPSU), will coordinate the donor reporting aspects of IOM programmes and projects in the region and assist with the reviewing process, in coordination with the Regional Thematic Specialists (RTS), the Regional M&E Officer, and other relevant units.
The tasks will be in line with IOM’s Project Development and Implementation (PDI) policies and procedures, Results Based Management (RBM) principles, IOM’s Strategic Results Framework, and donor requirements; and in the context of the Global Compact for Migration (GCM) and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Ensure donor reports are in compliance with Agreements and IOM PDI processes:

IOM’s official languages are English, French and Spanish.
For this position, fluency in English is required (oral and written). Working knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, and Spanish) and/or Thai is an advantage.
