The International Water Management Institute (IWMI), a CGIAR Research Center is looking for a competent, self-motivated, and dynamic candidate to join IWMI’s office in New Delhi, India as Research Officer – Water Resource Management.
The Research officer – Water Resource Management will provide scientific and technical support to the ongoing multiple CGIAR Research Initiatives, ICAR-IWMI workplan and bilateral projects. The successful candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of hydrological modelling tools, climate smart agricultural water management and geospatial data analysis. Working with the project management as well as with other CGIAR colleagues and national and international partners, the research officer will be part of a multi-national and multidisciplinary team that is contributing towards building resilience and mitigating environmental impacts in India’s agri-food systems.

This is a nationally recruited position and only candidates who are eligible to work in New Delhi, India will be considered. IWMI offers a competitive salary and benefits package, inclusive of health insurance, life insurance, accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) insurance, and long-term disability coverage. The duration of the contract will initially be for a period of two-years with the possibility of extension.
