Who are we?
We are currently looking for a highly qualified, dynamic, inclusive, motivated Risk & Compliance Advisor to join our Headquarters (HQ) team as a Maternity Leave Cover to support our ongoing work across our anti-aid diversion policy areas. You will join the Operational Policy, Tools, and Frameworks Section (PTF) within DRC’s HQ Operations Department in Copenhagen, Denmark. PTF is a lead contributor to DRC’s systematic approach to effective risk and compliance management in support of the organisation’s ability to achieve its objectives and mission.
About the job
In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact and contribute to DRC’s anti-aid diversion work while helping us maintain a diverse and inclusive workplace. You will work to fulfil responsibilities as global lead for several DRC compliance and anti-aid diversion related policies. In so doing, you will provide essential support towards DRC’s firm commitment to humanitarian principles, accountability, and integrity in relation to compliance requirements.

We offer
Contract length: 7 months
Working hours: 37 hours per week including lunch
Workplace: Borgergade 10, Copenhagen, Denmark
Start date: 1 May 2024 (or as soon as possible)
The position is temporary as it concerns a maternity leave cover at the end of which the staff member holding the permanent position will return.
Salary and conditions will be in accordance with the agreement between DRC and AC (agreement for academics). The position is subject to a Danish national contract for which local terms and conditions apply. You do not need to be a Danish national or resident to apply, nor do you already need to have the right to live and work in Denmark. An eventual contract offer, however, will be conditioned upon your ability to secure the right to live and work in Denmark if you do not already have it.
