Salesforce Architect – Information Technology Senior Associate

About this position
We are looking for a Salesforce Architect who will play a key role in delivering valuable solutions to our clients in the areas of Marketing Cloud, Financial Services Cloud, Experience Cloud, Tableau Analytics and other related areas to assure that best practices are implemented, and the modules and applications are efficiently and optimally used to support the Bank’s business requirements.
The Information Technology Operations Division at Inter-American Development Bank is currently working on multiple Salesforce implementations. The current Salesforce platform supports a centralized marketing and communications business model and the rollout of Bank-wide Customer Relationship Management practices through a phased implementation.
What you’ll do:
Work in coordination with other business SMEs, business analysts and technical teams in solution design, blueprinting and delivery of Salesforce solutions and technologies to meet business goals and requirements.
Provide input into the Technical and Solution Architecture, detailed design, prototyping and testing, in an advisory capacity or hands-on, including the preparation and / or authoring of related artifacts (documentary and otherwise).
Consult with business and technical collaborators to develop appropriate solutions for non-functional requirements such as performance, security, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability.
Perform analysis of business and technical requirements, to technical solution design covering Salesforce Application Architecture through to Enterprise Architecture; end-to-end Solution Design (across Salesforce and other technologies), and solution estimating and planning in collaboration with other IT teams.
Propose and implement Technical & Technology Strategies based on the salesforce.com suite of products and services.
Lead detailed planning, coordination, management, and execution of Technology Strategies to implement, integrate and embed Salesforce-based solutions in our existing technology infrastructure.
Define and drive strategies to scale technical delivery by means of automation and / or other innovations.
Define and drive technology roadmaps as they relate to the salesforce.com suite of products and for the ITE and Business, both in Headquarters and the Country Offices.
Develop relationships with Business and Technical partners to reinforce and extend the Architect’s role as a trusted advisor.
Lead the estimation and resource planning associated with solution design and delivery, defining standards, solutions and schedules.
Participate in the preparation and evaluation of RFIs and RFPs from time-to-time, as needed.
Find opportunities to use changes in customers, markets, and technology as a motivation to rethink IT solutions and services. Improve processes for the CRM solution, its ecosystem and integrations with other systems.
Work under the limited supervision of others.
Provide procedural and task guidance to more junior staff.
What you’ll need
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in any of the following related fields: Computer Sciences, Information Technology, or related area
At least one Architect Track Certification from application, system, integration, data, development life cycle/Deployment and
At least three Admin/Developer Track Certifications and
At least two Cloud Consultant Track Certifications from Experience, Service, Sales or Marketing
Experience:
At least 3 years of demonstrated experience working in the capacity of accountable or responsible technical contributor in CRM implementations and at least 1 year as a Salesforce Architect in creating the technical/solutions/data architecture for complex Salesforce implementations.
Experience in Public sector implementations in Latin American Countries desirable
Languages:
Proficiency in Spanish and English, spoken and written, is required. Additional knowledge of French and Portuguese is preferable.

Type of contract and duration
International staff contract, 36 months initially, renewable upon mutual agreement.
