POSITION SUMMARY

The Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT is seeking a SAP Concur Analyst to be based in Nairobi, Kenya. As part of the Global Treasury Unit, the SAP Concur Analyst will report to the SAP Concur Specialist. This position will work closely with the Travel offices and SAP Concur users, providing support, training, and guidance in the use of the tool.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide ongoing support to the Travel Focal Points and SAP Concur users.
  • Resolve SAP Concur questions and issues.
  • Gain understanding of the institutional travel policy to be able to problem-solve.
  • To be familiar with regional processes and institutional policies of the organization.
  • Assist IT with any relevant inquiries regarding relevant systems during integration phase.
  • Maintain SAP Concur travel guidelines relevance and ensure easy training material is available for staff.
  • Act as a focal point with the Alliance Finance Units related with the Sap Concur ERP.
  • Other duties assigned by the Global Treasury Unit from time to time.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • At least three (3) years of relevant work experience.
  • Ability to identify and communicate alerts and risk areas when needed.
  • Team player with analytical mind, well organized and attentive to details.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships both internally and externally.
  • Proficiency in relevant software programs Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other information management systems (ERP systems, etc.).
  • SAP Concur knowledge will be a plus.
  • Strong customer service mentality.
  • Highly motivated, demonstrate excellent attendance and the timely completion of tasks.

Terms of employment

This is a nationally recruited position based in Nairobi, Kenya. The contract will be for a period of one year, subject to a probation period of three (3) months and is renewable depending on performance and availability of resources.
