Major Function
The Seascapes Director for the Western Pacific (Fiji, Solomon Islands, Papua New Guinea, Indonesia) is responsible for the strategic development, implementation, and monitoring of the Western Pacific nature-positive seascape strategy. They will work collaboratively and cross-functionally to build out, manage, and implement a robust, integrated seascape approach with priority offices within the WWF network and will serve as a liaison and point of contact on issues related to science, protected area, fisheries, species and other marine conservation priorities in the Western Pacific seascape for the other WWF-US Goal and Influence teams. They will be responsible for supporting fundraising efforts, including focus on providing technical and programmatic support for both Public Funding and Blended Finance Pipelines.
