JOB DETAIL

Duties

  • Incumbent will coach, facilitate, set policies, provide technical assistance on program design, performance monitoring, ensuring data collection and quality, reviewing data, and using data for, learning, adapting, and informing decisions.
  • Represent FA/PPS at the Foreign Service Institute (FSI) by assisting in curriculum development, leading sessions of program design and/or performance monitoring courses and delivering presentations.
  • Project and process high-profile multi-year interagency initiatives; assist branch chief in resolving audit/inspections related to performance management.
  • Serve as the Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning lead (MERL), planning and implementing high priority interagency initiatives (e.g. Global Fragility Act) maintain strong interpersonal relationships internally and externally.
  • Ensure that the evidence produced through interagency MERL efforts inform policy, strategy and resource decisions that affect high visibility, high priority multi-year initiatives
  • Perform liaison activities to incorporate evidence and performance information into efforts such as regular strategic reviews at the mission/bureau/agency level, the annual budget formulation, responding to Congressional and OMB inquiries.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
  • Males born after 12/31/1959, must be registered with the Selective Service.
  • You will be required to serve a one-year probationary period.
