About the position
The Senior Analyst for Organizational Development will be responsible for supporting the identification, analysis, and mitigation of risks that could hinder the Alliance’s ability to meet its strategic goals. This role includes the implementation and continuous improvement of risk management frameworks and processes across various organizational levels. The Senior Analyst will be instrumental in preparing comprehensive reports for decision-makers and will collaborate closely with Associate Officers to identify and implement improvements in internal processes as part of ongoing risk analysis efforts. Furthermore, the role involves monitoring the effectiveness of controls and corrective measures.
The position will be based in Palmira, Colombia.
Key Responsibilities
Provide support in conducting risk assessment workshops to identify risk controls and mitigation strategies, in line with the Risk Management policy.
Compile and produce periodic progress reports, dashboards, and presentations that include statistical and graphical analyses of risk assessments conducted.
Evaluate and document the adequacy of current risk controls, ensuring clarity and accuracy in all reviews.
Assist in developing and strengthening a risk management culture through training sessions and other initiatives.
Ensure systems and mechanisms are in place to detect or prevent operational risks across the Alliance, and offer recommendations for improving the control environment.
Contribute to the monitoring of risk mitigation action plans under the Alliance’s risk catalog, updating and adjusting as necessary to ensure effectiveness.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and enhance the accessibility of quality data and risk management reports.
Support the communication of risk management initiatives by preparing internal materials and delivering presentations.
Share best practices and lessons learned to foster knowledge-building and support a culture of change management.
Work closely with the Organizational Development Unit (ODU) team to ensure the delivery of high-quality analyses, training sessions, and other assigned projects.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, business administration, finance, economics, accounting, or related fields.
Fluency in English and Spanish, with strong communication skills in both languages (oral and written).
Proven experience in supporting organizational development processes, particularly in risk management, internal audit compliance, and internal policy framework development.
Demonstrated experience in communications and the production of awareness materials.
Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies is desirable.
A formal certificate in Risk Management or similar qualifications would be an advantage.

Terms of employment
This is a national recruited position placed at a BG07, in a scale of 14 levels, with level 14 being the highest.
This is a Colombian national search and will be managed through a fixed term contract of a one (1) year period, subject to a probationary period in accordance with local legislation, and renewable based on performance and resource availability.
