The EIB, the European Union’s bank, is seeking to recruit for its Group Corporate Services Directorate (GCS) – Group Digital Office (GCS-GDO), Data & Information Solutions Department (DIS), Data Management Division (DM), Analytics & Reporting Solutions Unit (A&R) at its headquarters in Luxembourg, a (Senior) Analytics Solution Officer*.
This is a full-time position at grade 5/6 for which the EIB offers a permanent contract (an 80% part-time could be accommodated).

You want to be part of our data analytics lab to build the future using cutting-edge analytics tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI, Tableau and Plotly. We are looking for team spirit, proactive attitude, as well as a passion for data analytics. As a member of our lab, you will have the opportunity to promote the latest advancements in the data analytics industry and build solutions across various business domains. You will also work with a diverse and talented team of IT engineers and analysts who share the same passion and enthusiasm.
You will report to the Head of Unit and work in close cooperation with other IT units and counterparts from all directorates using data analytics services and solutions. There will be a lot of interaction with key stakeholders such as software vendors, providers of outsourced services, peer groups, consultants to optimise service levels and stay abreast of best practice.

As both English and French are however official working languages of the EIB, proficiency in both languages is a pre-requisite for your future career development. Any language clause in your contract must be fulfilled in order for you to be eligible for a promotion (either via the annual appraisal cycle or via an internal selection process). Proficiency is understood to mean the attainment of level 5 of the Inter Institutional language courses, corresponding to B1.2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL).
