The EIB, the European Union’s bank, is seeking to recruit for its Group Corporate Services Directorate – Group Digital Office (GCS-GDO), Platforms & Services Department (P&S), Integration Division (INT), Integration Platform Services Unit (IPSU) at its headquarters in Luxembourg, a (Senior) API Management Engineer*.
This is a full-time position at grade 5/6 for which the EIB offers a permanent contract.

Purpose
We are seeking a visionary individual who lives and breathes APIs, possesses strong technical expertise, and can drive the maturity of our API capabilities. As an API specialist, you will collaborate closely with development teams, guide them in adhering to best practices, and ensure a seamless developer experience. Experience with cloud-based API offerings and a focus on software development are key to success in this role.
You will play an essential role in the digital strategy, driving and supervising the evolution of the API management platform with state-of-the-art technologies both on-premises and in the cloud to support the business applications to be deployed in a hybrid mode. With your broad technical knowledge and developer-centric approach you will collaborate, empower, and make an impact on cross-functional teams.
