THE ROLE

The Senior Business Systems Analyst – Power Platform Solution Architect will report to the Head of Business Partnering & Delivery in the Knowledge Management and Technology (KMTS) organisation and have a deep understanding of Gavi’s business processes and application of these processes in the implemented technology solutions. He or She will own and be the expert of the Microsoft Power Platform and applications.

 

 

• Designing and implementing end-to-end solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents;
• Manage the external parties for delivery on time, with quality and within budget the continuous improvement roadmap;
• Accountable for defining the metrics used to track value delivery and to deliver within targets;
• Collaborating with business stakeholders to identify and understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solution designs;
• As an Agile scrum team member, ensure that deliverables bring value to the business and are delivered on time, with quality standards;
• Define and establish guidance for the Microsoft Power Platform environment security model, best practices, monitoring tools, and techniques;
• Setup a plan and manage the licenses and capacity management of the Microsoft Power Platform;
• Setup automatic deployment solution for fixes and updates on the Microsoft Power Platform;
• Developing and maintaining technical documentation, including solution designs, user guides, and training materials;
• Providing technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting issues and providing training and education on using the Microsoft Power Platform;
• Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in the Microsoft Power Platform and related technology and proactively identifying opportunities to leverage new features and functionalities;
• Conducting code reviews and ensuring adherence to development standards and best practices;
• Engage with business partners and business teams to influence investment decisions; assess the risks of various solutions and prioritise competing business demands;
• Ensuring compliance with security and data privacy requirements;
• Leading and contributing to technical and architectural discussions and decision-making processes.

• 8+ years of demonstrated experience in solution architecture and design with excellent business and technical acumen;
• Demonstrated experience in IT solution delivery;
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to complex business environments and situations, able to manage multiple priorities and projects, without affecting the deadlines and overall delivery;
• Demonstrated ability to manage outsourced resources;
• Demonstrated knowledge of both traditional Waterfall and Agile/Lean methodologies, as well of product management concepts;
• Demonstrated ability to engage business partners and speak in business terms to achieve target outcomes.

 

 

• Extensive experience designing and implementing end-to-end solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents;
• Experience in an additional enterprise platform is preferred (Salesforce, SAP);
• Excellent experience with solution design and architecture, including defining technical requirements, creating solution blueprints, and designing data models and integrations;
• Experience in converting business requirements and functional requirements to use cases and user stories with acceptance criteria;
• Ability to distinguish presented user requests from the underlying true needs, and distinguish solution ideas from requirements;
• Ability to identify unarticulated business needs and coordinate between stakeholder groups to address them;
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources;
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and practices;
• Ability to manage requirements elicitation workshops, excellent communication and presentation skills;
• Accountability to take on the responsibility, both personally and as part of the team, for delivering and improving the platform and application;
• Experience working in a client-facing role, with solid communication and interpersonal skills;
• Excellent team player with an adaptive mindset.

 

 

• Fluent English is required;
• French is an asset.

 

 

• Bachelor’s degree business, computer science, management information systems, or related field.
