CARE is dedicated to ending poverty and improving the lives of women, girls, and vulnerable populations around the world. We do this through meaningful partnerships with social justice movements, local civil society groups and broad networks of organizations focused on social inclusion. We are locally led, globally connected, and committed to advocating for the rights and inclusion of marginalized, under-represented populations around the world. We believe the inclusion of every individual, regardless of their identity, is essential in helping to transform societies and improve quality of life.
The Senior Capacity Development Manager is Key Personnel on the anticipated USAID-funded Inclusive Development and Equitable Assistance (IDEA) activity. This 5-year Leader With Associates (LWA) award will respond to the needs and priorities of marginalized and underrepresented groups and/or people in vulnerable situations (MUGVPs) and communities of all diverse identities and experiences and build the capacity of organizations that serve MUGVPs to help them meet their goals. IDEA aims to: 1) respond to the needs and priorities of MUGVPs and communities of all diverse identities and experiences and 2) increase the knowledge and skills of civil society and other organizations that advance Inclusive Development so that these organizations are better positioned to meet their own priorities and contribute towards more equitable development outcomes overall.
