The EIB, the European Union’s bank, is seeking to recruit for its Portfolio Management and Monitoring Directorate (PMM), Resource, Information, Coordination and Project Management Division (RICP), Coordination and Project Management Unit (CPM) at its headquarters in Luxembourg, a (Senior) Communication and Dashboard Creation Officer*.
This is a full time position at grade 5/6 for which the EIB offers a permanent contract.

Panel interviews are anticipated for September 2023.
Under the supervision of the Head of Division, you will assist the directorate on strategic issues linked to inter-institutional and policy matters; with a particular focus on internal communications, reporting and data quality standards.
To note, the Reporting line could change in the event of a reorganisation of the structure of the division.
The Portfolio Management and Monitoring Directorate (PMM) monitors counterparts and financial contracts and acts on contractual events under its responsibility, as well as on distressed transactions in order to protect the EIB’s financial interests and reputation. The Directorate is responsible for the Monitoring, Disbursements, Event Resolution, Divestment and Restructuring of (i) EU and non-EU debt counterparts, (ii) equity funds, equity-type and subordinated instruments after disbursement/investment or signature, as applicable (iii) EU and non -EU private sector distressed transactions. The Directorate also comprises of the Joint Middle Office (‘JMO’) responsible for disbursement, post disbursements, management of intermediated lending activities, counterparty management and KYC verification.

As both English and French are however official working languages of the EIB, proficiency in both languages is a pre-requisite for your future career development. Any language clause in your contract must be fulfilled in order for you to be eligible for a promotion (either via the annual appraisal cycle or via an internal selection process). Proficiency is understood to mean the attainment of level 5 of the Inter Institutional language courses, corresponding to B1.2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL).
