The Senior Data Management Assistant will report to the Research Investigator of Health Systems and Population Studies Division, and will be responsible for data management and analysis related to research.

The major Responsibilities of this position are-

• Develop data collection tools, metrics and a detailed work plan for data collection;
• Identify and apply appropriate sampling frame and study design for surveys;

• Develop training modules and facilitate training on statistics and/or statistical software;
• Prepare coding instructions, and develop cleaned and merged data files;
• Manage and analyze large set of quantitative data and assist PI to develop draft research report;

Required qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor degree in Applied Statistics
• Skills and experiences in Open Data Kit (KOBO); R/R-markdown, Stata, SPSS
• Familiar with quasi experimental including regression discontinuity design, ex-post matching in statistical analysis
• Preference will be given who has experiences in gender/poverty and agricultural research.

Contract Type and duration:

• CSA basis for 3 months with a possibility of extension subject to availability of fund and performance.

Salary & benefits:

• Tk.43,423/-per month (consolidated) inclusive of house rent and conveyance allowances;
• Festival bonus, income tax paid by icddr,b and subsidized canteen; Transport and daycare facilities are subject to space availability.
