You have:

  • A master’s degree in a relevant social science discipline (such as economics, political science, policy planning, public / business administration, or sociology.)
  • Proficiency in French and English (reading, writing and speaking.)
  • Significant and recent experience with progressive responsibilities in monitoring, evaluation and learning opportunities, including identifying gaps and needs in a field related to international development research.
  • An in-depth understanding of providing technical advice on monitoring, evaluation and learning to clients and diverse stakeholders.
  • An enhanced knowledge of monitoring, evaluation and learning within the context of Canadian and/or international assistance and research.

You are:

You are interested in:

  • Designing, conducting, and managing project, program and/or corporate monitoring, evaluation and learning processes.
  • Engaging program staff and management to support their use of evaluation to inform project and program design,
  • Contributing to the development and refinement of monitoring, evaluation and learning approaches and systems to ensure the integrity, effectiveness, and utility of evaluation at IDRC.
  • Developing and delivering informal and formal MEL training activities.
  • Joining an organization that values and models diversity, inclusion, and equity.

* Hybrid Mode: Have the flexibility to work in hybrid mode (Minimum 3 days out of 10 in the office).
