The Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) is a treaty-based international, inter-governmental organization dedicated to supporting and promoting strong, inclusive and sustainable economic growth in developing countries and emerging economies. To learn more please visit about GGGI web page.
GGGI began its operations in the Solomon Islands in 2019, focusing on capacity building, renewable energy, inclusive development, and climate change adaptation. GGGI is now implementing the Strengthening Inclusive Adaptation Capacity in Solomon Islands (SIAC-SI) project, which aims to enhance the country’s capacity to adapt to climate change through systematic vulnerability assessments, development and implementation of the National Adaptation Plan (NAP), and resource mobilization.
To ensure effective integration of gender equality, disability, and social inclusion principles across all project activities, GGGI seeks a qualified and experienced Senior Gender Equality, Disability and Social Inclusion (GEDSI) Associate to join the Solomon Islands team. This position will play a critical role in embedding GEDSI considerations in the SIAC-SI project while supporting other GGGI initiatives in the country.
