Norwegian People’s Aid is looking for an energetic and experienced Senior Institutional Partnership Advisor to advance our work in international development and humanitarian assistance. This is a critical role in building and managing NPA’s relationships with institutional donors and supporting our Country Offices with timely and strategic donor engagement, positioning and partnerships and with key institutional actors. The role will have a particular focus on NPA’s cooperation with EU/ECHO
Your main responsibilities:
- Contribute to further development and professionalisation of NPA’s work with institutional donors.
- Monitor and identify funding opportunities applicable to NPA country offices and programs, with a particular focus on EU donors.
- Keep abreast of trends and priorities and advise colleagues on communication lines with designated donors and their annual funding cycles.
- Responsibility for organising and coordinating NPA’s relationships with institutional donors, as well as further developing collaboration and communication through direct dialogue, personal meetings and participation in conferences.
- Lead the development of regional/global applications pursued by NPA and support and provide guidance to country programmes in strategic proposal processes.
- Advise country programmes and Head Office on donor strategies, policies, priorities, procedures and rules, and keep them updated on relevant funding opportunities and calls.
To be successful in this role you must have:
- Relevant higher education.
- Minimum of five years of experience working with institutional donors in a development and/or humanitarian organisation.
- In depth knowledge of EU/ECHO’s priorities and processes.
- Experience in developing donor strategies, plans, proposals and reporting to institutional donors.
- Documented experience in developing funding proposals, reporting and budgeting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Proficiency in Norwegian is an advantage.
- You must be proactive, independent and systematic.
- Ability to travel up to 30%.

Salary: 569.988 – 649.180 NOK depending on relevant education and work experience.
