ICRISAT seeks applications from dynamic Indian Nationals for the position of Senior Manager/Manager ? Business HR for their global operations in Asia and Africa. This position will be based at ICRISAT?s Headquarters in Patancheru, Hyderabad, India. The position will report to the Director ? Human Resources.

• ICRISAT’s global workforce is supported in all aspects of the Workforce Lifecycle (attraction, recruitment, selection, remuneration, rewards & recognition, on-boarding, performance management, workforce relations, learning & development, deployment, and separation) in accordance with agreed Key Performance Indicators(KPIs) and applicable policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• ICRISAT’s global Contract Workforce Management team ensures continuity of critical farm and office operations by providing workers through outsourced contractors in a cost effective and efficient manner aligned with appropriate local labour regulations.
• ICRISAT has a Performance Management policy and system that clarifies accountabilities and supports and incentivizes personnel and managers in achieving our mandate.
• ICRISAT’s efficiency is enhanced through modern HR policies, efficient and effective systems, and standard operating processes in all areas of HR management.
• ICRISAT has a planned and coordinated workforce relations and wellness approach, that includes an internal communications strategy that is multi-channel, consultative, timely, transparent and appropriate, and a published workplace conflict resolution and mediation approach.

Skills and Knowledge

• The ideal candidate will have most, if not all, of the following skills, knowledge, experience, and personal characteristics:
• Ability to conceptualize human resources practices and benchmark them against industry best practices.
• Ability to analyse complex data, carry out and explain computations or to resolve complex problems.
• Provides inputs into decisions making on complex problems.
• Proven capability of delivery in a large multi-cultural and multi-location organization.
• Experience in designing and implementing successful change management programs.
• Proactive and achievement oriented.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated expertise in written and oral communications in English.
• Knowledge of any local/regional language may be an added advantage.

Qualifications and Experience

• Post Graduate Diploma /MBA in Human Resources
• Work experience of at least 10 years in Human Resources Management with at least 7 years in a business partnership or similar role. Experience in leadership roles and people management will be preferred.

General:

This is Contractual position initially for a period of three years (36 months) renewable based on the performance of the incumbent and the institute?s continuing need for the position.
