Background
The Stop TB Partnership’s External Affairs & Strategic Initiatives (EASI) team leads, manages, and coordinates the organization’s work related to:
One of the EASI team’s critical strategic initiatives has been the Re-imagining TB Care (RTC) initiative, which aims to change how we do business in TB and global health and modernize when, where, and how TB care, services, and support are accessed and delivered, particularly by leveraging a people-centered design (PCD) process and the rapid roll-out (introduction, scale-up, and transition) of emerging innovations, such as digital and artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled solutions.
In addition to strengthening and growing the RTC initiative, the EASI team is exploring other new strategic initiatives related to TB financing (financial market instruments, venture capital, digital currencies), health insurance, digital health and AI-based transformation, TB vaccines delivery, etc.
The Senior Manager, Strategic Initiatives will play a crucial role in driving forward STBP’s mission to end TB by 2030. They will own and be accountable for leading, managing, and coordinating high-priority initiatives, projects, and / or activities that advance the organization’s mandate and achieve its 2025-28 Operational Strategy. The Senior Manager, Strategic Initiatives will report directly to the Head of the EASI team and work closely with the Executive Director’s Office (EDO) and other relevant STBP teams / initiatives.

In addition to the above-mentioned roles and responsibilities, the Senior Manager, Strategic Initiatives may be required to provide support for any other duties assigned by the Head of the EASI team.
