Senior Officer – Operations and Coordination

ICRISAT seeks applications from highly motivated and qualified professionals for the position of Senior Officer – Operations and Coordination to provide support and to manage functional operations in Corporate Services.  The incumbent will work very closely with and will be a direct reportee to the Director – Corporate Services. The position is based in Patancheru, Telangana.

Responsibilities:

• Managing and providing complete administrative support to the Director – Corporate Services office
• Oversee meetings, calendar and appointments, travel for the Director – Corporate Services
• Assist with Monitoring Donor reporting timelines, closure of Unidentified Credits, Claims recovery filing and updation of records accordingly
• Implementation of proper control processes amongst all departments under Corporate Services
• Keeping track of respective MIS dashboards and providing details to Director – Corporate Services on timely basis
• Monitoring and controlling the closure of audit recommendations
• Monitoring contract renewals and probation confirmations
• Monitoring Open Purchase Orders
• Prioritizing tasks, meetings, and actions by following up on strategic decisions arrived at from time to time

Qualifications and requirements:

• A minimum of 8 – 10 years’ experience in a similar role with a Master’s degree in Business, Administration or any other related field
• Experience with handling multiple projects and in a multi-cultural environment in a similar role
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Experience in Stakeholder management and ability to adapt to challenging situations
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communicator and a team player
• Strong working knowledge of MS office suite

General:

This is Contractual position initially for a period of three years (36 months) renewable based on the performance of the incumbent and the institute’s continuing need for the position.
