About the Hiring Group RTI Health Solutions, a business unit of RTI International, provides research and consulting services to clients in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device industries. Clients rely on our expertise and results to guide clinical development, regulatory strategies, and post-approval research and marketing programs. What You’ll Do Reporting to the VP of Legal or Senior Procurement Officer, you will support the global procurement of third-party goods and services for research projects. This will include preparing and managing subcontracts, consulting agreements, site agreements, and purchase orders. You will be involved in coordinating with operations and research teams to oversee the inclusion of third-party suppliers in project proposals. Additionally, you will provide support to the RTI Health Solutions Legal & Regulatory Affairs Office as needed. Responsibilities Oversee procurement processes, including vendor management, purchase authorizations, contract negotiation, and administration. Supervise Procurement team members to ensure timely and efficient support for internal and external clients. Review vendor proposals for accuracy and completeness. Manage monthly reporting and contract renewals/closures. Maintain procurement records in the enterprise-wide management and accounting system. Respond to client and vendor inquiries and document requests. Collaborate with research teams and the Office of Quality to qualify new suppliers. Address supplier performance and invoicing issues. Advise RTI Health Solutions research staff on contractual, business, and regulatory issues related to third-party use. Coordinate and conduct contract compliance reviews. Escalate relevant matters to management or business unit leaders. Support client audits and HCP/HCO reporting requirements. Maintain standard third-party contract and purchasing templates. Assist with upgrading or migrating the enterprise-wide management and accounting system, including gap analysis, setup, conversion, and training.
