Position Overview
The Senior Project Lead (SPL) will be responsible for leading PIH-US technical advising and implementation accompaniment efforts for projects conducted in the State of New Jersey. The Senior Project Lead will serve as the primary liaison with PIH-US’s partner agencies (e.g., New Jersey State Department of Health, local health departments and government administrations, community organizations) in the development of effective and equitable development of a Community Health Worker Hub (CHW-HUB) in New Jersey.
The SPL acts as the primary liaison for the work conducted with partner organizations and will drive strategy and set organizational and programmatic goals for PIH-US accompaniment work by providing general project technical assistance, staff/partner training, workforce data mapping, data interpretation and presentation, facilitation of governance meetings, and mapping of priority populations and key employer setting for community health workers throughout the state of New Jersey.
In addition, the SPL will collaborate with PIH-US colleagues across the United States, to bring learnings and insights from New Jersey to national advocacy and communications initiatives.
