• Develop data collection tools, metrics, and detailed work plan for data collection;
• Identify and apply appropriate sampling frame and study design for surveys;
• Develop training modules and facilitate training/workshops on statistics and/or statistical software;
• Develop manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals;
• Prepare scientific reports for the donors;
• Prepare coding instructions, and develop cleaned and merged data files;
• Check Consistency among the study variables;
• Manage and analyze quantitative data; monitoring and evaluation of intervention.
• Undertake statistical analysis and conduct data modeling on the research data in conjunction with primary authors and researchers;
• Resolve queries and issues related to statistical analysis to provide high-quality results (tables/figures) from data analysis to researchers within defined timelines and help prepare high-quality manuscripts and reports for research projects;
• Discuss preliminary findings with team members key stakeholders; Deliberate on those inputs and develop a draft report;
• Train people on data collection; supervise data collection; and monitor the quality of data collected.

Required qualifications and experience:

• Masters in Population Science from a reputed university with good academic records;
• At least 5 years of experience in data analysis. Candidates will be given preference who have working experience in multidisciplinary teams, and longitudinal data analysis.
• Training and experience in computer and statistical programming languages, such as STATA, R, Python, and JavaScript,
• Training and experience in public health and advanced statistical analysis.

Location: Dhaka.Contract Type and Duration:

Fixed Term Agreement; duration will be 1 year with a possibility of extension subject to availability of funds and performance.

Salary & Benefits:

• Annual Tk. 909,360/- inclusive of house rent and conveyance allowances and other admissible benefits;
• 14.8% provident fund contribution, income tax paid by icddr,b, children allowance @Tk.1,917/- per child per month, festival bonus, contributory healthcare support including dependent spouse and children, group life insurance and subsidized canteen. Transport and daycare facilities are subject to space availability.
