Description

Responsibilities:

  • Lead responsibility for the design and implementation of enhancements to the Salesforce platform using both declarative and programmatic approaches while following best practices for agile software development.
  • Manage intermediate to advanced administrative functions including security and access, environment management and deployment, formulas and validation rules, app creation and integrations.
  • Automate processes using Salesforce tools such as Flows and Approval Processes.
  • Proactively monitor and manage the platform via Seasonal Releases, Health Check, Shield Event Monitoring and Optimizer.
  • Guide the selection of integrated applications and managed packages; research, install, test, deploy and maintain apps from the App Exchange.
  • Stay up to date with the latest Salesforce features, updates, and industry trends, and provide recommendations for their implementation.
  • Provide backup coverage for the Salesforce Support and Operations Specialist.
  • Complete other tasks and projects as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum five years of enterprise CRM administration experience in a nonprofit setting, with at least three years in a Salesforce environment. Experience with the Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP), Salesforce Shield, Accounting Subledger and HubSpot integration preferred.
  • Salesforce Admin certification strongly preferred (ADM201 and ADM211).
  • Proficiency in the Salesforce platform with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, complex Flows and custom views. Experience with Apex and Triggers a plus.
  • Ability to critically evaluate and prioritize information gathered from multiple sources and reconcile conflicts.
  • Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce and other integrated systems.
  • Active participant in Trailblazer and local Salesforce nonprofit user group communities.
  • Exemplary interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate effectively with culturally diverse staff across departments and countries.
  • Interest in social justice strongly desirable.
