Job Title: Senior Service Assistant
Job Location: Bradbury House, Unit 24 Jessops Riverside, 800 Brightside Lane, Sheffield S9 2RX
Hours: 21 per week (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday but flexibility may be possible)
Salary: £21,155 based on 35 hours per week
Contract Type: Fixed Term to October 2024

You would carry out an administrative role for our Refugee Support Team who provide caring, safe, and empowering support to distressed people in vulnerable situations.
A day in the life of a Senior Service Assistant:
- You will provide administrative and operational support functions to the Refugee Support team in accordance with the needs of the team and corporate requirements.
- You will produce reports and updates on projects as required.
- You will analyse information and make appropriate decisions about action required.
- You will deal with external enquiries in an efficient manner.
To be a successful Senior Service Assistant:
- Do you have experience of working in an administrative role?
- Do you have experience of working with vulnerable people and an understanding of issues relating to asylum seekers, refugees and other vulnerable migrants?
- Do you have the ability to remain neutral and respect client’s confidentiality?
- Do you have excellent organisational skills, able to plan and manage workloads efficiently.
- Are you IT literate, particularly with Microsoft Office packages?
- Do you have excellent verbal and written communication skills?
