JOB DETAIL

Work for the IMF. Work for the World.

The technical Assistance Officer/Senior Technical Assistance Officer (TAO/STAO), under the general supervision of the Division Chief, ICDGP, carries out a core responsibility of the division, which is to raise funds and develop the partnerships for the IMF’s externally financed CD programs.

The primary purpose of the STAO role is to:

1. Raise external funds from donors/external partners for IMF CD;

2. Maintain external partner relations, build relationships with new external partners, and contribute to communications and outreach activities;

The STAO will engage with external sources of CD financing such as official bilateral agencies or Ministries, the World Bank, multilateral and regional development banks, and private foundations.
