The EIB, the European Union’s bank is seeking to recruit for its Secretariat General (SG), Governing Bodies Department (GB), Linguistic Services Division (LING), Spanish and Italian Unit (ES & IT Unit) at its headquarters in Luxembourg, a (Senior) Translator/Reviser (Spanish main language)*.
This is a full-time position at grade 4/5 for which the EIB offers a permanent contract.
*internal benchmark: (Senior) Translator (core EIB language)
Panel interviews are anticipated for August/September 2023.
As the (Senior) Translator/Reviser, you will translate texts from English, French and possibly other source languages into Spanish, edit EIB publications, and provide assistance to the Head of Unit. You will work in a team of three translators who make up one of the five units of the Linguistic Services Division and who contribute to meeting the Bank’s institutional translation requirements.
You will report directly to the Head of the Italian and Spanish Language Unit under the overall supervision of the Head of the Linguistic Services Division.
