The role:
The Service Delivery Manager will be part of the multinational and highly motivated Interoperability Branch (IO) who are responsible for the verification and validation of Communication Information Systems (CIS) readiness of NATO Command Structure and interoperability with and between assigned National and Multinational forces that participate in NATO-led missions and exercises. In support of the Federated Mission Networking (FMN) framework, IO leads Coalition Interoperability Assurance and Validation participation and test events to support the derisking of systems for the FMN Baseline. IO supports the management of change across live Mission baselines. IO further provides Allied Command Operations (ACO) and national sponsors with support to operational evaluation, CIS planning and configuration management, interoperability toolset provision, technical advice on interoperability and guidance on verification and validation (V&V) activities. The Service Delivery Manager will support with the orchestration of Agency subject matter expertise to support ACO in the governance and management of NATO’s networks in the area of V&V of interoperability.
Reporting to the Head, Interoperability the Service Delivery Manager will contribute to the Interoperability V&V strategy, policies and plans by contributing to the development of the interoperability V&V strategic plan and corresponding annual business plans on the basis of continuous exchange with the Customers and policy makers. Collaborating with the Portfolio Management Office the Service Delivery Manager will coordinate the forecasting and demand planning in the areas of workforce, service, portfolio and strategic needs for the interoperability V&V Branch, subsequently taking responsibility for the successful deployment of the interoperability mission or exercise. The post will focus on four key areas of Service Delivery:
· Stakeholder engagement (internal and external)
· Leading & motivating teams
· Analysis, demand planning/forecasting and report writing
· Providing advice to staff and management

About you:
You easily establish good relationship and are able to relate to people at all levels. You produce new ideas, approaches and insights to deliver innovate solutions to problems. Able to adapt to changing circumstances you can manage ambiguity, accept new ideas and change initiatives. Further to this have:
· Skilled in the use of advanced computer-based tools in the areas of office automation (MS Office Suite especially MS Excel, MS SharePoint);
· Familiar with principles of accounting and finance
· Knowledge and experience of project management / project planning methods
· Experience in corporate and strategic planning activities
· User experience of Oracle E-Business Suite modules
· User experience with Business Intelligence Tools
· Proven ability to communicate effectively orally, using tact and diplomacy, and in writing with good presentation skills
· Hold a Prince 2 Foundation and ITIL Foundation
Ideally you have:
· Experience with interoperability initiatives or teams
· Experience writing business cases
· Experience with enterprise Project Management tools such as ServiceNow or EPM
· Experience in continuous improvement initiatives
· Certification as Organisational Change Management Registered Practitioner
· Prior experience of working in an international environment comprising both military and civilian elements
· Knowledge of NATO responsibilities and organization, including Allied Command Operations (ACO) and Allied Command Transformation (ACT).
