Service Support Assistant
Job Location: 10 Acres Hill Lane, Parkway Business Centre, Sheffield S9 4LR.
Hours: 21 per week
Salary: £21,567 per annum based on 35 hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent

You could join us a Service Assistant in our Mobility Aids Service (MAS) based in the Sheffield area.
Our Mobility Aids Service offer loans of wheelchairs and other mobility items, as well as training on how to use them properly. As such, we give people the ability to continue living independently without the need for outside help, whilst also easing people’s transition to living at home again following a hospital stay.
In part of the territory, we have relationships with health commissioners to provide equipment that allows people to maintain their independence whilst living with a health condition.
A day in the life of a Service Support Assistant…
Providing administrative and operational support which may include dealing with face to face queries and calls, processing invoices, and operating across different systems.
Working alongside our existing volunteers and staff to provide outstanding customer service when interacting with service users in person, on the phone, and online.
Carrying out a range of duties, ensuring that the delivery service, stock control systems and other administrative systems meet the needs of the service and maintain smooth and efficient operations.
The work you will do will be crucial to the organisation, and therefore vital to the lives of those in crisis.
To be a successful Service Support Assistant…
Are you IT literate with Microsoft Office and have the ability to learn and work with an online stock management system?
Do you have excellent communication and customer service skills and are comfortable handling financial transactions?
Would you be confident dealing with queries from customers, hospitals and referring agencies in a positive and professional manner?
Are organised, can prioritise tasks and manage your workload in a busy environment?
