Job Location: 10 Acres Hill Lane, Parkway Business Centre, Sheffield S9 4LR.
Hours: 21 per week
Salary: £21,567 per annum based on 35 hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent

As a Service Support Assistant, you would provide operational and administrative support to our Mobility Aids Service team.
Our Mobility Aids Service offer loans of wheelchairs and other mobility items, as well as training on how to use them properly. We give people the competence to continue living independently without the need for outside help. We can also ease people’s transition to living at home again following a hospital stay.
In part of the area, we have connections with health commissioners to provide equipment that allows people living with a health condition to maintain their independence.
A day in the life of a Service Support Assistant…
You will provide clerical and operational support. This may include dealing with face to face queries and calls, processing invoices, and working across different systems.
You will work alongside our existing volunteers and staff, providing outstanding customer service when interacting with service users in person, on the phone, and online.
You will ensure that the delivery service, stock control and other administrative systems meet the needs of the service and maintain smooth and efficient operations.
The work you will do will be crucial to the organisation, and therefore vital to the lives of those in crisis.
To be a successful Service Support Assistant…
Are you IT literate with Microsoft Office and have the ability to learn and work with an online stock management system?
Do you have excellent communication and customer service skills and are at ease handling financial transactions?
Would you be confident dealing with queries from customers, hospitals and referring agencies in a positive and professional manner?
Are you organised, can prioritise tasks and manage your workload in a busy environment?
