Your responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our team, specializing in developing and optimizing software solutions for the Data Acquisition System (DAQ) system’s backend and core infrastructure of the Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment (DUNE). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in C++ programming, with significant experience in software development, system architecture, multi-threaded programming, and distributed computing. Familiarity with SiMD (Single instruction, Multiple data) techniques is considered a plus. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing software components crucial for data acquisition, processing, and management in the context of the DUNE experiment’s DAQ system.
