Position Title: Sr. Technical Lead, Collaboration Department: Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) Location: Manila, Philippines (working hours from 4pm – 1am) Reports to: Senior Director, ICT Corporate Services POSITION SUMMARY Winrock International (Winrock) is a non-profit organization that works around the world to increase economic opportunity, sustain natural resources, and protect the environment. The Sr. Technical Lead, Collaboration manages the business collaboration applications deployment, development, and support. The major responsibility includes overseeing the development and implementation of the organization’s collaboration data strategy: collaboration data architecture, management of the collaboration data design standards, collaboration data governance and drive data architecture solutions. The Sr. Technical Lead, Collaboration’s role is responsible for managing the deployment, development, integration, and enhancement of business collaboration applications, both in house developed and third-party solutions following the best practices in the industry and ensuring that the organization standards are followed. In addition to this, the Sr. Technical Lead – Collaboration manages the collaboration database and applications ongoing support- troubleshooting, update/ upgrade, as well as training, user management, documentation development and report creation and modification. The Sr. Technical Lead, Collaboration supports the management with supervision of the team – creating job descriptions, performing employee’s evaluation. The Sr. Technical Lead, Collaboration will determine the need for additional external resources, define the scope of work, and assist in monitoring their performance. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Team Management Plans and organizes the work, defines the cadence of activities. In cooperation with the Project Manager, assigns tasks to the team members and ensures the organization’s core values are followed by the team Determines the need for additional external resources. Develop the scope, recruits, and onboard resources. Assists with job description process for the team and provides feedback on team performance during performance evaluation. Supports the interview and selection process of new team members. Creates applicant assessment tests. Supports the process of identifying team’s development plan needs (training, certifications, etc.) and occasionally conducting team trainings. Supports team mentoring Stays up to date with the latest technology trends closely related to the team’s scope of work, leads the team to analyze and test innovative technologies that will bring efficiency and support the ICT and Winrock’s strategic objectives. Business Mindset In collaboration with the ICT Leadership team and Knowledge Management, leads the development and implementation of the organization’s data strategy. Understands the organization vision and strategic direction and manages the technical team to deliver solutions in line with the business goals and industry best practices. Enable Business Automation Leads the deploying of new in-house and out of the box collaboration applications, databases, software components, scripts to meet business requirements and demands. Leads the development of in-house collaboration scripts, applications, software modules or interfaces to third party solutions by following the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) best practices and standards – planning, design, testing, release deployment, documentation development, etc. Leads the enhancements of existing in-house collaboration applications by developing application/database code, scripts, modules, and other improvements requested or recommend changes that will allow optimization of the existing processes through automation. Application Administration Leads collaborations applications (both internal and third-party) install, tune and diagnostic activities. Leads collaborations applications maintenance, both in-house and purchased, by implementing updates, feature enchantments, upgrades, etc. on regular basis by following the manufacture update schedule and the organization upgrade/update processes and in coordination with the Director of ICT Corporate Services. Leads the collaboration application performance monitoring and tuning in coordination and direction of the Director of ICT Corporate Services. Leads the maintenance of technical documentation, Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) with emphasis on Standardization, Efficiency and Quality improvements for the collaboration team. Leads the efforts of developing new or modification of existing reports, following guidance of the ICT Leadership. Leads the compliance efforts and ensure the organization’s standards and policies are followed. Support Leads the support to existing collaboration applications & databases both in-house developed and other supported business applications including incidents on a 24×7 coverage by anticipate/prevent, identify and troubleshoot issues. Leads the collaboration application & database user management for creating new user, onboarding, UI or backend roles assignment and user deactivation. Provides guidelines to the Project Manager with application & database trainings. When necessary, conduct the trainings. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Education/Training/Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, relevant Microsoft certification, and any financial/business classes. Experience: 7+ years of hands-on experience with Office 365 services: Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive 7+ years of Expert level administration experience with Office 365 SharePoint Expert level with Power Apps, Power Automate (Flow), Power BI, Power Virtual Agents, SharePoint Online, connectors, etc. Expert level with digital process automation and capturing requirements and translating them into dynamic workflows. Expert knowledge of building apps, page layouts and content types using the O365 API. Proven experience working on InfoPath for SharePoint Online. Advance knowledge in programming languages such as: HTML, JQuery/ajax and CSS Knowledge in developing SharePoint Framework (SPFx) using Visual Studio Code Experience redeveloping legacy sites and apps with SharePoint Online sites and cloud apps built using the Power Platform, Flow, Logic Apps. Proven experience with relational databases using MS SQL Server with creation and optimization of complex SQL database and scripts. Strong Knowledge and previous experience in MS Azure DevOps. Expert level with integrating business apps with SharePoint and Power Suite. Experience in creating and modifying PowerShell scripts for On-Prem and/or Azure. Experience in Single Sign On (SSO) implementation using MS Active Directory and/or Azure AD Experience with Visual Studio IDE 2015, 2017, and 2019. Experience in MS Azure administration and configuration platform and expertise for Web Apps. Previous experience in Agile software development life cycle. Excellent analytical skills for troubleshooting and issue investigations. Proven customer service skills for Tiers 2 and 3 support/troubleshooting. Proven experience in supervising consultants. Demonstrates initiative, a “can-do” spirit, ownership, meets commitment and delivers results. Excellent ability to manage multiple projects under strict timelines, as well as the ability to work well in a demanding and dynamic environment with competing priorities. Self-motivated, works proactively and efficiently. Strong focus on process improvement. High level of enthusiasm and energy; professional demeanor. Strong attention to detail and precision. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – high emotional intelligence and excellent presentation skills a must. Experience working with international teams and different time zone. Communication/Language Skills: Must have a strong command of English language, both in oral and written communications and must be able to convey and articulate opinions, cascade accurate information and technical work requirements in a manner that can be understood by all types of internal clients.
