This position is in the Bureau for Resilience, Environment, and Food Security’s Program Office (REFS/PO) at the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). REFS is responsible for worldwide leadership and integrated technical expertise in agricultural-led growth and environmental sustainability.

Duties

  • Planning and directing the analytical and evaluative work for the execution of budget plans and programs for a significant agency operational unit.
  • Serving as an organizational expert on budgeting and financial management issues.
  • Coordinating across operating units within and external to the agency in areas such as operational planning, budget execution and client services to address concerns on topics such as resource requirements, procurement actions, and budget reporting.
  • Leading preparation of a detailed operational plan for a significant program, including interpreting guidance, preparing a work plan to accomplish all required tasks, and organizing the efforts of a large team.
