Result of Service
Submit a final report on the training delivery which will include a summary of the feedback and recommendations collected from the delivery of the training sessions including the date/time, number of participants per session, locations of participants, and gender (in coordination with the SCO Programme Analyst). It will also include recommendations for future training and support needs related to MH case access improvement and awareness raising. This will be done for both the Gatekeeper and the Trauma-Informed Organizations Training.
• Develop additional materials and workshops as needed and time permits.
• Deliver online training for UN Secretariat offices

Duties and Responsibilities
The Staff Counsellor’s Office (SCO) is part of the Division of Healthcare Management and Occupational Safety and Health (DHMOSH), in the Department of Operational Support (DOS), and it is located on the UN Secretariat Building in New York HQ. Its mandate includes providing psychosocial support to staff members and managers, support the DHMOSH teams in managing the mental health cases and education for healthcare professionals provide psychoeducation and wellness activities for the New York based UNS staff.
Under the direct supervision of the SCO Chief, Dawn Straiton, the consultant will:
• Adjust the Gatekeeper Training content and format of the training based on the experience and the feedback of the 3 sessions pilot.
• Deliver Resilience Building Modules and Change Management traiing to targeted offices .
• Develop TTT for OAH/RC counsellors.
• Delivery of other training sessions not included here will be decided based on organizational needs.
• Offer confidential online individual consultations with participants as requested.
Reports and all Training Materials developed by staff members and consultants remain the exclusive property of SCO/ DHMOSH and the United Nations following the consultancy. All work is confidential.
Qualifications/special skills
Master’s degree in Psychology or related field, or related Mental Health Degree with at least seven years of strong mental health experience will be considered. Training in mindfulness is highly desirable.
At least 7 years of prior work experience in mental health field required.
Experience working in international organizations is an asset.
Demonstrated experiences and skills in facilitating training in stress management, resilience, and related topics is required. Experience developing and delivering online training workshops is required.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision is required.
Languages
Languages Required: English required; second UN working language is an asset.
