Who are we?

The Danish Refugee Council (DRC) is a global non-governmental organization that assists refugees and displaced persons in over 40 countries worldwide. Our HR team in Copenhagen consists of 30 dedicated and skilled colleagues from diverse backgrounds and nationalities, supporting our teams both in Denmark and internationally.

We are organized into four teams: HR Operations & Analytics, HR International Partnering, People Development & Engagement and HR Headquarters & Denmark. As a member of the HR Operations & Analytics team, you will work alongside six other colleagues.

About the job

Our HR Operations & Analytics team handles a variety of tasks related to employment contracts and extensions, system administration, master data quality and people analytics. You will collaborate closely with HR Partners, specialists and advisors across the organization to manage employment contracts and extensions for colleagues on both national and expatriate terms.

Your specific duties will include:

  • Actively participating in the process of issuing employment contracts in accordance with DRC’s internal policies.
  • Updating HR and payroll master data, which may also involve tasks like importing or reconciling data.
  • Ensuring the completeness and accuracy of master data quality in a timely manner.
  • Providing basic reporting support.
  • Offering ad hoc support in use of the HR module of the integrated ERP system, acting as a go-to person for regional, country or HQ HR as needed.
  • Supporting projects around the ongoing digitalization of HR processes to help drive process efficiency.

About you

To succeed in this role, you should have experience with or have interest in learning about utilizing technology to enhance the efficiency of contract procedures within our organization. You are comfortable in adapting to new technologies and can leverage various system solutions. Additionally, you take pride in processing a high volume of contracts and recognize the value that the quality of your work brings to the organization. You understand the importance of providing excellent service and enjoy offering assistance and support to others.

Moreover, we also expect the following:

Required

  • Are currently enrolled in an academic institution studying HR, business administration, or a related field.
  • Possess a basic understanding of HR administrative processes and systems.
  • Have a good understanding of the MS Office package, particularly Excel.
  • Take pride in efficiently handling high volumes of work.
  • Have excellent English and strong Danish communication skills, both written and oral.

Desirable

  • Strong technical skills in the Microsoft product suites.
  • Execution drive to improve process efficiency.
  • Experience providing customer support, preferably in an international company or organization.
  • Knowledge of French would be advantageous.

A permanent part-time position of 15-20 hours per week, subject to your continued enrolment in an academic institution.

A workplace in central Copenhagen, Borgergade 10, with some flexibility to work from home at agreed times.

Salary and conditions will be in accordance with the agreement between DRC and HK. This is a national position for which local terms and conditions apply. Please note that you need to have the right to work in Denmark (through nationality or existing work visa) in order to be considered for this role.
