The Subaward Finance Manager leads the review and processing of subaward invoices and risk assessment working across departmental stakeholders. Project Accounting Operations in monitoring field office operations to ensure that field offices are following internal control procedures established by ACDI/VOCA.

• Assist the Managing Director, Project Accounting, and the Director of Subaward Management System in developing uniform subaward financial monitoring processes and policies.
• Prepare and analyze monthly subaward aging report and other tracking system.
• Review and reconcile subaward related general ledger accounts ensuring that accrued subaward expenses are correctly recorded and timely reversed, as applicable.
• Travel overseas and/or within the continental US to conduct subaward compliance site visits.
• Lead subaward training for field office grants and finance personnel.
• Raise potential risks as appropriate to senior management.

Audit

• Assist with the annual audit process by compiling audit samples.

Other

• Make recommendations and assist in implementing system improvements.
• Respond to requests for information and assistance.
• Attends departmental and project planning/review meetings.
• Support and enhance the company’s culture of diversity, equity and inclusion and align with our corporate values by treating others with respect and congeniality.
• Ability to host or attend in person meetings when required.
• Other duties as assigned.
