JOB PURPOSE
The Supporter Engagement Officer will design and implement audience journeys to grow, develop and mobilise Amnesty International’s supporters across priority countries in Asia-Pacific.
ABOUT YOU
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Regional Offices of Amnesty International; working together for human rights change. We are looking for a Supporter Engagement Officer to engage and retain our supporter base across countries in the region with a focus on, but not limited to email marketing.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- To help grow and develop new online audiences and increase the engagement of existing Amnesty supporters in Asia-Pacific.
- To write and produce compelling human rights content in English that inspires, empowers, and mobilizes our audiences to get involved in our campaigns and activities; with the support of regional campaigners, the translation coordinator and translators, to draft and produce compelling human rights content in languages of priority countries across the region; primarily for HTML emails, but also for other content types when applicable (eg social media, digital adverts, videos, animations, blogs, etc).
- To lead on pilot projects featuring innovative ways to deliver behaviour change communications in the region working with chatbots, Whatsapp, Telegram and others, when relevant.
- To measure and report on the performance of all digital supporter engagement activities and processes.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Significant proven experience of digital marketing with expertise in email marketing.
- Excellent written communication skills in English; and familiarity with other regional languages desired, although not required.
- Experience in mass-emailing and CRM tools, preferably Engaging Networks.
- Excellent project management skills and attention to details, with the ability to achieve success in a fast-paced environment.
