Technical Advisor – Governance and Decentralization
FHI 360 is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Technical Advisor – Governance and Decentralization for an anticipated five year USAID-funded Local Health Systems Solutions (LHESS) Activity in Liberia.
The LHESS activity will seek to achieve the following key objectives:
The Technical Advisor – Governance and Decentralization will serve as the primary subject matter authority on decentralization and governance, providing thought leadership, management oversight, and technical direction and supervision. The Technical Advisor will, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and other collaborators, design, plan, and oversee project activities, under the direction of the project leadership. The role will support the Ministry of Health, Country and District Health Teams, and health facilities to advance the Ministry of Health’s decentralization agenda, in particular through the strengthening of County Health Boards, District Health Boards, Hospital Boards, and Health Facility Development Committees.
