Do you have experience in digital systems and approaches including those related to design, configuration, deployment as well as integration between systems, preferably from SaaS/cloud-based solutions in a large and complex organization? We are looking for you!
As the Supply Chain Tech Lead, you will configure & implement systems linked to Supply Chain Management (SCM) within the context of NRC’s overall project for the modernization of its supply chain. You will support and advise on:
- How the system(s) should be in line with NRC’s Supply Chain processes and in compliance with NRC’s Data Protection Policy
- How to improve the experience for all users of the various systems related to SCM and contribute to continuous improvement efforts to adjust policies, guidelines and processes.
Some of your specific responsibilities include:
- Responsible for the Third-Party service provider Application Management Support (AMS) contract/solution support provider (if such a provider is hired): manage tickets and enhancement requests (including their prioritization), ensuring proper communication between the involved parties and documentation of decisions.
- Manage priorities and provide guidance on solution design, configuration, and change requests.
- Provide recommendations and roadmaps for Supply Chain solutions linked to the modernization project based on business requirements.
- Document and share best practice knowledge for new solutions implemented for the modernization project.
- Advocate (internally and externally) for functional solutions and process improvements and help develop the Supply Chain Management systems further.
- Regularly communicate new features and benefits to process owners and other stakeholders.
- Participate in business planning/ project meetings to contribute knowledge and insight on possibilities and limitations of Supply Chain Management solutions linked to the modernization project and address system-related queries and concerns.
- Develop or moderate proof-of-concept projects to validate proposed system solutions.
- Performs other project-related duties as assigned, within agreed timelines.
- Responsible for development, ownership and maintenance of the global item master (standardized taxonomy for goods and services).
- Responsible for helping to identify and assess solutions for any future Supply Chain related requirements.
What you will bring
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with system configuration, preferably from SaaS/cloud-based solutions.
- Experience in digital systems and approaches including those related to integration between systems.
- Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of business change and transformation.
- Experience in project managing structural change and/or business transformation processes.
- Experience of working in a large and complex organisation.
- Knowledge and experience in working with matrix structures.
- Experience of analysing systems and suggesting areas for improvement and development.
- Experience with organizational development.
- Experience in working with digital tools.
- Experience working in IT.
