The Role:

Technical Specialist- SRHR will be responsible for technical oversight, to ensure quality of program interventions on SRHR and SGBV, implemented by the partner organizations that include two youth-led organizations. S/he will be developing SRHR technical guide, annual work plan and monitoring plan in collaboration with the Y-Moves team; assessing SRHR related training needs of partner staff and young people and member of Youth-led organizations; designing training modules/manuals and contextualizing the contents based on community, and conducting TOT/training programs for them.

Besides, s/he will support development of project SBCC materials and materials for media campaign on SRHR; managing relationship with local partners, national partner and Youth-led organizations and other stakeholders; anchoring SRHR advocacy at local and national level.

What we’re looking for:

We need a self-motivated and energetic individual with Master’s Degree preferably in Public Health (MPH) or any other related subject with 5 years working experience in SRHR projects in any reputed development organization with proven technical expertise in adolescent health in different settings and demonstrated ability to develop and implement program strategy. In-depth knowledge in different aspects of child, adolescent and maternal health. Should have proper understanding of and ability to serve as development catalyst and practitioner given the country public health issues and Plan mandate. He/she must have excellent facilitation skills together with highly developed interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills. Should have the ability to identify SRHR research issues, designing tools, TOR and conducting research. Can establish good relationships with stakeholders; works cooperatively with other units, maintains networks outside the organization He/She should respect equity, gender sensitivity and ensure safeguarding issues. Should have good understanding of different development initiatives i.e. SRHR, SGBV, gender equity, child rights and Child protection.
