Duties and Responsibilities
Drafting continental guidelines/protocols on infectious disease surveillance to help early detection and control of disease outbreaks in cross-border areas, including remote border crossings associated with mobile populations (including nomadic pastoralists, refugees, and IDPs; The continental guidelines/protocols would be presented to the AU Summit for adoption
Qualifications/special skills
Ph.D. or Masters in the field of public health, epidemiology, social sciences, or related fields
